The long term goal of the App is to reduce plastic material for making packaging, by providing producers the possibility to just put the barcode on the product, allowing them to dispense with the rest of the packaging because all information can be accessed through the App. With this app, consumers can reduce impulsive consumption by choosing the right food based on daily basic needs. But, this means altering how we buy clothes, food and even our electronics. To be more sustainable, the best thing you can do as a college student (and really this is true for everyone) is simply to be conscious of your choices and their impacts. College is the best time in your life to practice living sustainably and grow the habits that will stay with you forever. Here are some useful information and little changes you can implement, to lead a more eco-friendly life. Concept Social Media content is centered around 5 different subtopics about living sustainably, mostly focusing on the so-called "Low waste lifestyle", because that is something that even (university) students can easily do and motivate others to do the same, both at home or in the campus. Besides briefly explaining the different subtopics, with relevant facts and statistics (why is it important to tackle this problem), we also provide different actions for them to choose from, that are easy to accomplish and give an instant feeling of success. Design &amp; UX A tinder-like approach (e.g. swiping) makes the topics easy to consume and the design/UX is already familiar to our target audience.Tinder comes up often as an example of a good UX and gamification → Tinder was the pioneer of the “swipe right” function, focusing on a simple but effective user experience that appealed to the millennial and Gen Z audiences, which typically have short attention spans.Swiping technique is based on the idea of unpredictability. Every time the user swipes, he/she doesn’t know what to expect. Given that the target demographic for pearl milk tea tends to be younger individuals aged 18-40, I opted for a brighter color palette with blue as the main color. The inspiration for this color came from the Franz porcelain pattern on the tea set, which is closely connected to the culture of tea.
